13.07.09 - Council tells band to keep playing!

Members of the band gathered outside Newtonhill Primary School this afternoon to meet a STV Camera and reporter. The band were filmed performing and several members were interviewed. 07.07.2009 - Council orders band to Pipe down!
The band have been told by Aberdeenshire Council to stop practising outdoors after a complaint from a local resident was received. The band have practised in the grounds of Newtonhill Primary School for more than a decade in the summer. Members of the band were shocked to receive a letter from the council last week telling them they could not practise outdoors.
